If you need any help

Read this list of most frequently asked questions and answers to learn more about the domain parking.

  • How long I can expect to wait for a domain to park?

Typically it takes up from 15 minutes to a few hours. In some cases, it can take up to 72 hours to propagate DNS worldwide — things can go slow for a number of reasons. But, in most cases, it takes minutes, not hours. Feel free to contact us if you don't see any changes on your domain more than an hour.

  • What if I already have the A record for my domain?

If you already have the A record at your domain, don't add any records and update the value of existing record with our dedicated IP address.

  • Can I use CNAME record to park my domain?

Yes, but we don't recommend this method. You can refer to a subdomain of your holding page at the CNAME record instead of using the IP address in the A record.

  • Do I need to specify the www part for my domain?

You may not. We will try to park both root and www domains, so feel free to write the domain name in a way that is more comfortable for you. Just remember that if you want to park both root and www domains, then you need to add two A records to the DNS settings of your domain.

  • Can I buy a domain at CMNGSN?

No, but you can do it with Namecheap which is our domain name registration partner.

DNS could be tricky and we know it. If you have any concerns or questions about domain parking, feel free to contact us.
